Certificate and Expertise

Laurence Sallenave, the artist’s great-niece, is the only person authorised to issue certificates and authenticate a work. Information and photographs submitted become the property of the estate and may be used to prepare the future catalogue raisonné. The estate cannot provide valuations of artworks.

The procedure

1. Provide all documents concerning the work (provenance, previous owner, copy of invoice, history, origin, etc.).

2. Provide the exact dimensions of the work, whether a sculpture or a work on paper.

3. Provide two professional-quality black-and-white photographs, 18 × 24 cm.

4. Provide a digital file on CD or USB drive.
